Step 1: Realize a dream that a dingy 1910 Cellar can be transformed into a beautiful wine room.

Step 2: Build an optional floor using 6mill vapor barrier, then stud grid, then fill with rigid insulation

Step 3: install 3/4' Plywood Floor

Step 4: Frame room, run electric and lighting, and insulate (first install 6 mill vapor barrier behind the stud wall, use either 2x4 or 2x6 walls for greater efficiency)

Step 5: Install Green Board for better moisture control, patch, and paint

Step 6: Build all of the wine racks one at a time so they fit seamlessly in the room. Bring them in the unfinished space prior to finishing to double check tolerances.
